Overview:

This client had found wallpaper and fabric that she really liked but was also looking to re-upholster her worn furniture as was of good construction and it fitted the room well. We selected an opulent crushed velvet that sat very well with the trimmings and tie-backs for the soft furnishings.

The straight design of the pelmets allowed for the detailed beaded trimming on the lower edges to take centre stage. Co-ordinating tie-backs, rope trim on the cushions and top of the pelmets and another beaded trim on the lampshades ensured all round attention to detail.

The curtains were interlined which gave them more body, improved insulation and gave them a much more luxurious appearance which was all very fitting in this period property.
